Don't Love Your Circumstances? Change Them.

Today is my birthday. I turn 51 today. 

I feel like the first half of my life was all about LEARNING and the second half will be all about LIVING.  All about IMPLEMENTING all the learning. And there is so much “implementing” I want to do! LOL

As I sit here on the front lawn of the Inn at Bay Fortune, overlooking the ocean, surrounded by beautiful raised beds of fresh herbs, I’m just so thankful for the life I’ve created for myself. 

I guess that’s what it boils down to isn’t it? 

Whatever experiences I have in my life, I’ve created them. I’m ultimately responsible for the way my life is unfolding. I’ve had people share the journey with me along the way - some playing more key roles than others - and each of them has contributed to my journey and brought me to here. To this exact moment in time. 

To be clear it’s not those other players who are responsible for where I am now.  It’s how I chose to respond to those life experiences that has brought me here. How comforting is that?! I get to ultimately control the outcome of my life. 

That means if I don’t love my circumstances at any point in time, I get to change them.  

Just like that? 

Yep.  

You betchya.  

Just like that. 

It may require a few shifts in order to make the change, so it may take a little time, but at the end of the day it really is that simple.  And THAT powerful.

So today, I will take inventory of my beautiful little life, appreciate each one of my blessings, and decide what I want my life to look like one year from now, and then get busy allowing the universe to deliver it to me. 

How fun is that?

Your life gets to look like whatever you want it to look like… 

You just have to decide and allow that.
